Argentina baby!

It was the 14 August since my last post, so I thought it was about time I updated you on what’s been going on in the Chasing Beads World.  First off was the move, we were moving from Bromley to Reigate, and all was going relatively well until the removal men didn’t turn up, let’s just say my husband left an interesting message on their answer phone.  Luckily a company called Easy Shipping came to our rescue and moved us that day – we were very lucky.  Once we were unpacked, it was time to repack as we were off on our next adventure, a trip to Argentina.  We have a friend who immigrated to Buenos Aires a few years ago so it was great to catch up and have our own personal tourist guide around the city.

Some of the other great things about Argentina is the food.   Now if anyone tells you that the best steak you’ll ever eat will be an Argentinean steak then they’re telling you the truth!  The meat is so tender you can cut it with a spoon and it just melts in your mouth.  Wash it down with some tantalising merlot or malbec and you’ve got yourself a first class meal!

Argentina is a big country so we had to spend a few hours on an overnight coach to reach some of our destinations but the highlight of the trip had to be Iguazu Falls followed very closely by a trip to Mendoza wine tasting.

Here are a few pictures from our trip:

Next stop, home... I now had to catch up on all the weeks I’d been away from my desk.... I’m nearly there but I still have some paperwork to get through.

Over the next few months I’m hoping to launch some new bead ranges on my Ebay store, create some new lines of jewellery for my Folksy shop and finally launch my very own e-commerce website – all very exciting.

So that’s it from me now...I promise not to leave it so long next time.
